Presentation Take 2 (Text Draft 1)

Presentation Text:
Our Set up and dress: Have the Screen Printed Vest on a model for client reference also each wear a top with the new logo on it?

1st Slide:
Begin with handing Shirley, Trish and the tutors our folder with our deliverables. While one of us Welcome’s everyone to our presentation and introduces the team and takes the time to acknowledge our clients and tutors. Also mention in each of the folders they have just received are copies of the deliverables we have produced.

2nd Slide:
Here on the screen I want to draw everyone’s attention to what we have gathered about who Earthlink are. This shows us Earthlink thrive socially alongside with great organisations in the Hutt Valley and the Greater Wellington Region. Known for their not-for-profit Organisation, Earthlink shows us they have a passion to give back to the community by providing a great range of facilities for the benefit of others.

3rd Slide:
Reasons/Implications we have come across through the info we have gathered through surveys, Employee(r) Insight and Public perception.
Over the past 13 weeks we have collectively gained insight from the inside of each department at Earthlink to help us better identity what hurdles need tweaking to make the life of current employees easier and maximise marketing benefits through cost effective solutions with the facilities Earthlink already have access to.
The main points we gathered were:
-        Time
Earthlink runs at a tight schedule with many employees working across multiple facets to keep the company moving. This limits the amount of easy marketing solutions through their social media sites and website development.
-        Money
Another obstacle we have gathered that limits Earthlink is their budget for marketing. As a not-for-profit organisation you struggle to see the purpose and benefits of marketing design.
-        Support
These two hurdles have a major influence on the organisations priorities in terms of what facilities need attention and funding over another. In the following slides we hope to alter your point of view and convince you how investing a bit of time into our provocations can promise you a stronger and prosperous future.

4th Slide:
We propose four easy solutions we can have your company maximising its benefits in all its levels
Online
In store
On the Job
Outside - ?Posters

5th Slide:
Here we begin with how utilising your social media sites with relevant and prepared posts will contribute to strengthening your audience for sales and stocktake/donations.
Elaborate on current statistics of fb page, who sees the current posts.
Also mention how boosting posts at as little as $7/day will reach current followers and friends of followers.
Perhaps mention other companies or sponsors of theirs are managing social media and how affective it can be.

6th Slide: (On slide have image of FB template example post of relevant info.)
So you may be thinking when are we going to be able to do this? How will we get our post content from?
We have discussed with each other how opening a temporary position at Earthlink for a Social Media co-ordinator will take a lot of stress off your hands. Furthermore, if you look through your folders you will find a job description, with a quote from SJS to have it posted online if you take up this offer.
This job comes with a step-by-step weekly schedule of what the occupant will be required to do, with examples and templates of how to put together a well-thought out and appealing Facebook post.

7th Slide:
Our next subject deals with in store improvements.
In the surveys we conducted in store just under a month ago we gathered few people came into the store and could clearly find what they were looking for….**
Magenta and I (Elise) have focused the last month on easy to apply in store solutions to resolve this customer confusion with the use of large vinyl icon stickers. They are clean cut and easy for visitors to identify with to inform them of where things are around the premises of Earthlink.

8th Slide:
Another vital aspect of Earthlink’s is their brochure, it is located in the recycle shop and the front office reception, and they can be considered as their current main source of marketing that informs the public eye of who they are. We took a hold of these and as you can see, if you look into your folders the example we have given you, we have re-worked their layout and text to a simple, yet affective display that informs and invites the visitor into each pocket of Earthlink to find out more.
Not only have we designed these brochures, we have gifted the file to Shirley. It is re-usable and can be updated when needed; it is currently on a compatible program so it can easily be printed and re-worked at Earthlink. Also on the USB disk drive you will find another document attached with a step-by-step guide of how to use Publisher so, whoever needs to alter the brochure it can be easily done without wasting any time.
9th Slide:

Our third proposal focuses around maximizing your organisations outreach while on the job,
- vests

-Paste ups...?

10th Slide:
You will have noticed throughout this presentation is our iteration of your current logo.
A key contributor to the Public perception of Earthlink is how you present yourself. Your logo is a great opportunity to convince consumers, clients and the public of how official you really are.
We wanted to create a logo that represented you honestly, accurately and reveal your company as concise as possible.
-Soft edges, colour lift, etc
We understand your budget is limited, however we do believe this logo can in time be updated when purchasing new work equipment or service transport.

Slide 11:
Positive Outcomes
Overall Adjusting Earthlink’s current public perception will unfold many benefits both in and out of the organisation.
Earthlink’s online appearance will reach out to your current popular demographic women aged 20-40yrs to strengthen the amount of local support and increase awareness of what’s happening and coming into Earthlink’s recycle shop.
The signage will benefit your current customers, employees, visitors, trainees, and businesses. The brochures are made to target your existing audience and increase awareness to potential clients and businesses.
Through screen printed messages on your current fluro vest uniforms will maximize interaction with the public and also generate awareness for potential clients and companies.

Slide 12:
Overall, through this proposal we hope to generate an increase in donations, consumers, local support, and more business deals. In turn these ideas will generate more work to a brighter future for Earthlink.
