Presentation Text to date

Presentation Text:
Our Set up and dress: Have the Screen Printed Vest on a model for client reference also each wear a top with the new logo on it? Or just Black long sleeve?

1st Slide:
Begin with handing Shirley, Trish and the tutors our folder with our deliverables. While one of us Welcome’s everyone to our presentation and introduces the team and takes the time to acknowledge our clients and tutors. Also mention in each of the folders they have just received are copies of the deliverables we have produced.

3rd Slide:
On the inside of your company we gathered insight from your employees and discovered the common hurdles that stand in your way from reaching your full potential are
Time, Money & Support.

Each of your workers and yourselves already run tight schedules co-ordinating and participating in multiple facets to keep the company moving. Why would we want to put more responsibilities on the company?

Also a budget for marketing is the main explanation you use that limits Earthlink from reaching out. We understand that as a not-for-profit organisation you struggle to see the purpose and benefits of marketing design. However there are cost effective ways around this hurdle and the benefits are limitless.

A few employees shared generously their experience of the management and we have identified time and money are the biggest causes that have a major influence on the organisations priorities in terms of what facilities need attention and funding over another. In the following slides we hope to alter your preconceived idea of design and convince you how investing a bit of time into our provocations can promise you a stronger and prosperous future.

4th Slide:
Essentially what design does is generate a public perception of who you are based on what they see about you, hear about you and speak about you.
We conducted several surveys in the Lower Hutt Region and in Wellington City that told us a little more about how important it is for you to consider design within you current organisation. Just to give you an idea:

60% of people had no idea who Earthlink were 3% of the street thought you were a computing company 20% were interested in finding out more … You can see the full list in our dossier.

5th Slide:
To convince you further we went out through Massey and asked if they could identify your current logos with the company. Following with a question “Would you have guessed these logos were of the same company?” Many replied….
Hence the reason in the following slides we propose solutions to these implications

6th Slide:
We have focused our provocations to overcome the limitations you and your company currently experience. Looking at your Brand Identity, Online appearance, in store arrangement, on the job and on the street awareness.

7th Slide:
Here we present to you our logo iteration….

8th Slide:
Your online appearance, believe it or not, is a huge vessel that if Earthlink uses it in the right way can generate a greater demographic in consumers, support and in keeping the public eye aware of who you are and what you’re doing.
As we first proposed in our first presentation we wish to maximise your benefits by giving and teaching you with step-by-step guidelines of how to start up and structure a user friendly facebook page that 1: links to information on your website, other organisations you support and 2: will keep your follower up-to-date and generate support. Shirley if you look into your folder we have given you a usb disk, this disk has a collection of files one of which are easy-to-follow instructions of when and what should be posted in order to get those likes! You can choose to print these off as reference if you wish.

Finally we approached Rob and Trish to ask their opinions of what they think could be improved to make their lives a little easier. Rob mentioned a separate page for the Recycling shop and Trish liked the idea of opening a temporary position specifically for your online appearance so get it up and running. Thus, we are proposing an open Job description that can be easily advertised for free on Student Job Search. The job will include: …

9th Slide:
In store the first thing we picked up were your brochures. As visual communicators we saw potential to update and refresh their look…

10th Slide:
Another key aspect of Design is about what the public can see! With this in mind we thought of some easy way showing solutions that can make ones experience of the Recycle Shop more inviting!

11th Slide:
On the Job! Here we present a sophisticated example of a labelled High Visibility Vest with a short phrase “ask me about earthlink” that encourages on lookers to interact with your workers. This allows your workers to be ambassadors your company’s facilities without any extra cost.

12th Slide:
To generate a greater awareness
