We were looking at what eco-friendly paper we could print our dossier on and I brought in brown paper, recycled paper made from hemp, recycled paper with decommissioned dollar notes (see enlargement) in it and homemade recycled paper.
Issues we discussed were that whether the flecks in the money paper would be distracting and also whether the paper is strong enough. The hemp paper feels less than 80gsm.
It comes from The Papermill in Whangarei, which interestingly trains up intellectually challenged and disabled people to manufacture the paper.

Good grief, they even make a paper incorporating dry-cleaning lint, and another with noxious weeds, such as agapanthus.
